Memories and Faces

Putting our footprints in the sands of time for our children

The Kacir Lapshan Family Reunion is now a special part of our family history. The day was beautiful, Bloomer Park was the ultimate party place, the families were excited and the memories will live in our hearts for a long time to come.

We were blessed to host three of our parents' generation - Lorraine McAuley, Mary Ann Shirilla and Eva Kacir, who wore their celebratory leis proudly. How wonderful to see them! So many cousins came from far and near, sharing with their children the wonder of the Kacir Lapshan Clan and their joy of life. Games for all ages had us laughing 'til we cried, there was more food than we could eat in a week and the cameras never stopped clicking. While math is not my strong suit (LOL), I believe the numbers were over 80 in attendance.

You all can be proud of your cousins who served on the reunion committee. We all came together as one, went with our strengths, stepped in where we were needed and are happy that it was such a success... thanks to our wonderful families.

Get ready to mark your calendars for the next gathering... two years down the road! If we don't have your email address for ease of contact, please private message me at so that I can add it to our family list. Let me  just say... "I LOVE MY COUSINS!"
